Jasmyne Fine

Hygienist

Born and raised in Inglewood, CA, I've always had a deep-rooted passion for both oral health and exploration. My parents played a pivotal role in nurturing this passion by providing me with a solid educational foundation. This foundation led me to Dillard University in New Orleans, Louisiana, where I pursued my undergraduate studies, immersing myself in the vibrant culture of the city and expanding my horizons.

After completing my undergraduate studies, I embarked on my dental hygiene journey at NYU College of Dentistry, a decision that took me across the country to New York City. The experience was transformative, not only professionally but also personally, as I embraced the diversity and energy of the city.

Despite the allure of the East Coast, my heart remained in California, prompting me to return to complete my hygiene studies at West Los Angeles College. This homecoming allowed me to reconnect with my roots and further solidify my commitment to serving the oral health needs of my community.

Since 2017, I've been dedicated to my role as a dental hygienist, a profession that allows me to combine my love for science, health, and helping others. One of the highlights of my career has been the opportunity to teach second-year dental students at UCLA School of Dentistry. In this role, I focus on imparting not just technical knowledge but also the importance of ethical and moral values in dentistry, shaping the future of oral healthcare professionals.

In pursuit of my passion for dental hygiene and to be closer to my college colleagues and family, I made the decision to move to Dallas, Texas. This move has allowed me to continue growing in my field while remaining connected to the important people in my life. I look forward to the opportunities and experiences that lie ahead as I continue to make a positive impact in the field of oral health.
